Ȥ¹º²Ê is seeking a motivated and skilled Formulation Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on technical compound profiling at the intersection of drug discovery and early drug development. This role involves hands-on experimentation in compound characterization and formulation development, contributing to innovations in pharmaceutical sciences. You will work in a collaborative, multinational environment that values innovation and transformative results in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, document, and interpret experiments in compound characterization and formulation development independently.
  • Conduct analytical investigations, including physicochemical characterization of drug substances and products using techniques like DSC, TGA, XRPD, and DVS.
  • Perform formulation development activities, such as solution/suspension formulation screening and characterization.
  • Participate in scale-up experiments and manage supply activities for pre-clinical PK and tox studies.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols, especially when handling chemicals and managing hazardous materials.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Certified Laboratory Technician or University graduate with equivalent technical/academic training in relevant fields.
  • Experience in small-scale material handling is essential.
  • Direct experience in formulation, analytical chemistry, or material science is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in wet chemistry techniques and powder characterization analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory tools, procedures, and methods used in pharmaceutical or chemical R&D.
  • Hands-on experience in HPLC method development and stability testing is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with data and digital tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment with an agile mindset.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, effective in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German and/or French is an advantage.
